Was it Just a Dream

God honors humility not pride and with humility comes wisdom

If you prize wisdom, she will make you great. Embrace her, and she will honor you.

“We must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline”1

Give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and give to God what belongs to God

Even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many

“Continue to work with the faith that unearned suffering is redemptive” 1

The Spirit’s force guides His children with wisdom that comes to us with a gentile whisper

The Lord tests the righteous and the wicked, and the one who loves violence His soul hates.

“In the process of gaining our rightful place we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds” 1

Thow shalt not steal, nor covet, nor kill, or bear false witness against thy neighbor

The gate to life is narrow so why run through the wide gate, down the highway to destruction

“We must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence” 1

He blesses the righteous and not those who must always be right no matter the cost

Know that loving thy neighbor as yourself is what we were all commanded to do

“Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred” 1

Be still and know that God will be honored by every nation and He will be honored throughout the world

We all remember when he said “I have a dream today”; was it just a dream

No; “One day every valley shall be exalted, every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight, and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together.” 1

Jesus will return in glory
