I Come To You.

I come to You

Come to You in breakdown

Come to say that it is all my fault.

You are a God who calls me

A God with a generous heart.

I come to You offering

Come to You in melt down

Come to say that it has all been said and done.

You are a God who sees through to my heart

A God who seals me

A God with a gracious heart.

I come to You repenting

Come to you in download

Come to say self has passed away.

You are a God who breaks me

A God who uses me

A God with a forgiving heart.

I come to You degenerate

Come to You in depravity

Come to say that it has all gone wrong.

You are a God who renews me

A God who changes me

A God with a sanctifying heart.

I come to You despairing

Come to You declaring

Come to say that dread lurks in my heart.

You are a God who surrounds me

A God who protects me

A God with a defending heart.

I come to You decrepit

Come to You insipid

Come to say that it is all beyond my control.

You are a God who loves me

A God who forgives me

A God with a merciful heart.
