Standing firm in your own right with wisdom.

There is wise counsel and counsel from a fool. It's most important to get counsel from the Great Counselor. It's certainly not wise to run to others first, too many opinions and voices can discourage and confuse us especially if the advice is coming from the wrong source.
Standing firm in your own right with wisdom.

So, the day comes when we examine your life, assets, and capabilities and realize that we need more credentials, money, and or, experience to pull off the vision that has sparked a fire of passion inside us.

Over and over in our mind, we've rehearsed various strategies, positioning, and blueprints of how you can get this thing started that just won't let us sleep at night. The vision keeps calling us. We grow weary every day from not at least positioning ourselves in the direction we know we need to be going.

We can't seem to shake those scriptures from our hearts and mind that we heard someone say. Seems like we keep hearing that still soft voice telling us, it's time.

Habakkuk 2:2-3

2 And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

3 For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.

We finally surrender.

We get up the nerve to share our plans with our most trusted confidants, believing they will give us the constructive and supported feedback we hope will co-sign our agenda. Our plans. Our thoughts. Our vision. We pray they will give us the encouragement and perhaps even help as a financial backer needed to help jump-start the process.

Some are enthused for us; some brush off our ideas and vision with the infamous word; Interesting.

Or that's nice!

Or something like "you can do anything if you really want too."

Then there are the others.

...the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand.
Proverbs 19:21

You know, those people.

The naysayers.

You know, those, the people who only have a little going and certainly aren't interested in hearing about anyone else getting further.

Talking with the naysayers we often get negative feedback. And it's at these times when we wish we had never even opened our mouths, not to mention telling our vision or ideas to them.

Suddenly. Our inner voice gets ready to respond just as negatively. We go into defense mode; after all, we gotta protect our vision, but the Holy Spirit prompts us to stay quiet and hold our tongue. By listening and obeying, we find spiritual relief.

And as we calm down, wisdom scriptures come to our mind, guiding us back to the main thing. Wise counsel and sound advice.

Proverbs 13:3

Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.

Nevertheless, we move on and continue to hold on to our dreams, and we're determined to beat the odds regardless of the defeatist feedback we get from "The negative tribe."

So now it's been countless hours,

we've watched tutorials,

reels, clips, podcasts,

and motivational videos.

We finally get a breakthrough. The phone rings. It's a prospect that we may have long since given up on, but now tell us about their need for our service.

Ecstatic about our exciting news, for the moment, we forget about the struggle, almost agree to everything they say, hang up the phone, and break out in our happy dance. Then, the silent shout of joy, we snap our fingers or even clap our hands; we've tasted that sense of accomplishment, and a sigh of relief lay upon the assurance of it all: we can have a sweet sleep; we've at least gotten over the most challenging hurdle.

Confirmation weaves its way into the next steps of our passion, vision, goal.

Could this post resemble an experience you are having or may have had?

Have you also chosen to follow your vision and take a chance on yourself?

Did you go and tell the wrong people too much about your plans?

Have you decided to trust God and allow God to lead you to wish counsel?

Are you willing to tarry until the appointed time?

If so, start now. Don't let those words or feedback discourage you from doing what God has called you to. Start doing something that points you in the direction you need to go and walk it out. God-given visions may tarry, but they come together at the appointed time.

Until we meet up again, blessings to all. Keep shining. And always stay encouraged!

Again, don't be overly concerned about the naysayers, Wisdom comes from on high.

Proverbs 19:20-21

20 Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end.

21 There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.
