Whisper Of The Holy Ghost

Walking along a thousand miles behind

But it is really a million miles in my mind

How is it I am so far away

To be brought near by a spiritual host

The Holy Ghost.

I am returning to what means the most

I spent all I have and debt costs

I am at an interface

All I need is to be in a safe place with

The Holy Ghost.

My mind is sad but my heart is glad

To be where it means the most

Where I am bound to be found

Fed and clothed, the prodigal comes home to

The Holy Ghost.

It does not take long to find out that you are wrong

Then you decide just where you belong

It is in the silent stillness and not the crowed throng

That you meditate upon and submit to the

Whisper of the Holy Ghost.
