The Believer's Authority - Prayer (3) - Intercession

Updated: Sep 15, 2019

The Heart of Intercession

The greatest intercessor that walked on earth is our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ himself!

Through his shed blood, he has broken down the middle wall of separation between ourselves and God, and has reconciled us to him through belief in Christ's sacrificial death on the Cross!

Access is granted, and in the court of heaven, before the throne of grace, Jesus our High Priest sits as our advocate. Here, he defends us against the accuser, who afflicts and accuses us day and night. Christ's victory over our lives means that the enemy is hurled down in Jesus' name! (Rev.12:10)

So as you 'stand in the gap' before God in prayer, pleading the cause of others, nations, and localities; the Holy Spirit, the Comforter and Helper will come alongside you with utterances and power to enforce God's will and way so that breakthrough comes!

'Heavenly father, thank you for interceding for us day and night before the throne of grace. Through prayer and in the authority that you have given us as believers, we partner with your Holy Spirit, and we ask that you intervene and let your will be done here on earth as it is in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus, amen!'

Beloved of the Lord, be encouraged!
