The believer’s authority (5) - Spiritual Warfare

Beloved of the Lord,

The name and the blood of Jesus has power to assist us in battle! For the battle is not ours, but His.

In Ephesians 6:12, we are duly reminded, “ For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms”

Yes there is war in the heavenlies but fear not, because time after time we can testify that Our God, the man of war, the consuming fire goes before us, and in the name of Jesus Christ we have the victory!

No matter the issue, whether generationally inherited or through our own misadventures, trust and obey God’s instructions and his strategy in prayer. We need not focus on the seeming strength of the enemy or compromise with the deceiver. Just press on in prayer, not wavering in God’s WORD, our spiritual sword.

With the help of the Holy Spirit, as we conform to the image of Christ, demons flee, strongholds are broken and freedom flows.

We give praise and glory to God for the victory he has already won for us through Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection!

As beloved children of the most high God, “ He who lives in us is greater than he who is in the world” (1 John 4:4)

Be encouraged!
