From the day we heard and believed the Word of truth - the gospel of our salvation, we were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise and we received a new position in Christ.
Jesus is seated in the highest place of authority. He is at the right hand of the Father in heavenly places, far above all principality, power and might and dominion!
Let us rejoice, for as children of God, we share in this divine authority and position in Christ by faith! Knowing this releases us to rise up with a 'victory mentality'.
Heavenly Father, thank you for overcoming the evil one, and securing us an inheritance of victory. May the eyes of our understanding be enlightened as you reveal yourself to us by your Spirit, in Jesus' name, amen!
