Greatest Gifts of Christmas

Rooted in a dream, foretold by a prophet, with endless prayer came true

This blessed day the Lord’s angels sang, a message heard and never forgotten

Shepherds watched a masterful light gleaming throughout the night then and forever

Blossomed into a constancy absorbed by whosoever should seek its flawless rays

Conceived through faith and love of a Holy Mother a promise was kept by God

A glorious small lamb emerged in His likeness, destined to be greater than the world

Perfect in thought, in action, in every way an example for all hearts to follow

Born a lamb, transformed into a shepherd, one who would give His life for the sheep

Common souls would rise with Him someday with a promise of His spirit to become

The greatest gifts of Christmas ever given; hope, healing, forgiveness, eternity, the Messiah

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Isaiah 9:6

I am the Good Shepherd. I know My sheep and My sheep know Me. I know My Father as My Father knows Me. I give My life for the sheep.

John 10:14-15
