I was basking in God's love for me
How He designed salvation's plan so perfectly
How He searched all of heaven for one who would volunteer
How Jesus stepped up and said, Father I will
Father I will go and save the human race
From Adam's sin, when he fell from grace
There'll be no more need for the shed blood of animals to atone
For My shed blood will restore grace, My blood alone
Jesus came in the form of a baby and grew into a man
Then laid His sinless life down fulfilling God's salvation plan
And up from the grave after three days
He conquered death, hell, and the grave
